Estimated time: 1h
Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter, Drill
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Hoffman hole seal
- Power Down the System
Turn off the local disconnect in the control enclosure and ensure all power to the enclosure is off. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and test for power using a multimeter.
- Mount the Sequestr Enclosure
Remove the subpanel from the Sequestr enclosure. Align the enclosure with the control enclosure and secure it using thirteen M6x20mm washer head cap screws from inside the control enclosure.
- Install the Circuit Breaker
Drill mounting holes in the panel for the circuit breaker. Install the breaker according to the manufacturer's instructions and secure the panel back into the Sequestr enclosure using the saved hex nuts.
- Connect Wiring
Drill holes in the control enclosure for wire passage. Connect the load side of the circuit breaker to the existing wiring, ensuring to seal around the wires to maintain a Type 1 rating.
