Overview

nVent Sequestr AXD18 Type 12 external disconnect enclosure (SKU: AXD18) isolates incoming power to reduce arc flash hazards. Constructed from 11-gauge (.121 in) steel with gray powder coat, it meets NEMA Type 12 standards. Dimensions: 34.45 x 14.00 x 18.12 in (875 x 356 x 460 mm). Features include continuously welded seams, smooth-ground surfaces, and a formed body flange for moisture/debris channeling. Compatible with nVent A28 and A34 main enclosures for retrofits or new installs. Ships pre-configured with terminal connections. Certified to UL 508A, cUL per CSA C22.2 No. 94, NEMA Type 12, and IEC 60529 (IP55) for indoor/outdoor use. Key features: removable centerposts, concealed hinges, 3-point latching with padlocking handle, lifting eyes, oil-resistant door gasket, panel supports, collar studs, high-impact thermoplastic data pocket. Optional 15-inch floor stands welded to enclosure. Mechanical interlocks prevent slave doors from opening before master door.
