The nVent AMC484812R is a robust Type 1 metering cabinet designed for secure indoor housing of metering transformers and instrument assemblies. Constructed from durable 14 or 16 gauge steel, this cabinet features an ANSI 61 gray polyester powder paint finish for enhanced protection. Its generous 48x48x12 inch dimensions accommodate various configurations. The double-door design provides convenient access, complemented by gland plates on top for meter connections and a hinged door with a pull latch and provision for padlocking. Inside, users will find a pre-punched accessory panel, a potential transformer (PT) panel, and a current transformer (CT) panel, simplifying installation and customization. A four-lug splitter block is included for efficient wiring. This cabinet meets CSA File Number 42184 and NEMA/EEMAC Type 1 standards, offering IP30 protection.
