Drill, Screwdriver

Supplies needed:

10–32 Hex Nut, Ground Connector, Grounding Kit, Ground Label, 10–32x1 Screw

  1. Drill a hole for grounding

    Drill a 7/32 inch diameter hole in the bottom end of the enclosure to prepare for the ground connector.

  2. Prepare the ground connection

    Remove paint from the area where the ground connector will contact the enclosure to ensure electrical continuity.

  3. Install the ground connector

    Install the ground connector in the drilled hole and connect the ground wire as shown in the installation diagram.

  4. Attach the ground label

    Attach the ground label adjacent to the ground connector to indicate the grounding point.

  5. Ensure panel grounding

    If applicable, install the lockwasher included in the enclosure under one of the screws securing the panel to ensure grounding between the panel and the enclosure.
