This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the grounding kit in the AGS408 enclosure to ensure proper electrical grounding.

Supplies needed:

Ground connector, Ground wire, Ground label, 10–32x1 screws, Lockwasher

  1. Drill the hole

    Drill a 7/32 inch diameter hole in the bottom end of the enclosure for the ground connector.

  2. Prepare the surface

    Remove paint from the area where the ground connector will contact the enclosure to ensure electrical continuity.

  3. Install the ground connector

    Install the ground connector into the drilled hole and connect the ground wire as shown in the documentation.

  4. Attach the ground label

    Place the ground label adjacent to the ground connector as indicated in the installation guide.

  5. Secure the panel

    If applicable, install the lockwasher under one of the screws securing the panel to ensure grounding between the panel and the enclosure.
