Overview

Enhance workplace safety and operational efficiency with the nVent Sequestr External Disconnect Package (SKU: A90XD7818SSFTCLP). This robust enclosure system is engineered to significantly mitigate arc flash hazards when performing maintenance or inspections on interior enclosure components. By isolating incoming power externally, it creates a safer working environment, allowing technicians to confidently access and service equipment without the risk of sudden electrical discharge. The Sequestr External Disconnect Package is meticulously constructed from high-grade SS304 stainless steel, offering exceptional durability and resistance to non-corrosive or mildly corrosive elements. Its brushed finish not only provides a clean, professional aesthetic but also contributes to its resilience in both indoor and demanding outdoor applications. The Type 4X NEMA rating ensures superior protection against water and dust ingress, making it an ideal solution for a wide range of industrial settings, including manufacturing plants, processing facilities, and utility infrastructure. Each nVent Sequestr package includes a main enclosure and a dedicated Sequestr box, providing a complete solution for power isolation. The disconnect switch and fuse block or circuit breaker are strategically mounted within the external Sequestr box. Terminal connections are then routed to the main enclosure, effectively bringing power to the internal components while maintaining the critical safety separation. This design facilitates seamless integration into existing electrical systems and simplifies installation processes. For facilities looking to upgrade their current infrastructure, Sequestr boxes are also available for separate purchase, allowing for the retrofitting of existing enclosures to incorporate this vital safety feature. This flexibility ensures that businesses can implement arc flash mitigation strategies incrementally and cost-effectively. The 90x78x18 inch dimensions offer ample space for standard disconnect components, while the 2-door design of the main enclosure provides convenient access for wiring and maintenance. Key benefits of the nVent Sequestr External Disconnect Package include: * **Arc Flash Hazard Mitigation:** Significantly reduces the risk of arc flash incidents during internal enclosure work. * **Enhanced Safety:** Isolates incoming power, creating a safer environment for personnel. * **Durable Construction:** Manufactured from SS304 stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance and longevity. * **Versatile Application:** Type 4X rating suitable for indoor and outdoor use in various industrial environments. * **Flexible Integration:** Package includes main enclosure and Sequestr box; boxes also available separately for retrofitting. * **Convenient Access:** 2-door design on the main enclosure for ease of maintenance. Trust nVent, a global leader in electrical protection solutions, to provide reliable and innovative products that safeguard your personnel and assets.
