The nVent Sequestr External Disconnect Package (SKU: A90XD4018SSFTCLP) is a Type 4X stainless steel enclosure designed to isolate incoming power from the main control enclosure, reducing arc flash risk during maintenance. This 1-door package includes a main enclosure and Sequestr disconnect enclosure, both constructed from 14-gauge 304 stainless steel with a smooth #4 brushed finish. The Sequestr enclosure features continuously welded and ground smooth seams, a hinged right-side door, quarter-turn slotted latches, and a 3-point latching mechanism with a Type 316L stainless steel POWERGLIDE padlocking handle. Certified to UL 508A, cUL, NEMA Type 4X, and IEC 60529 IP66 standards, it protects against windblown dust, rain, sleet, and hose-directed water. The package includes terminal connections for power pass-through to the main enclosure and is shipped as a complete unit for new installations or as a retrofit for existing nVent A28S4 enclosures.
