- Prepare conduit entrance
Select either the upper or lower end of the enclosure for conduit entrance. Drill and tap the hole using the appropriate drill size based on the conduit size you will use.
- Install conduit
Screw the conduit into the tapped hole ensuring it protrudes sufficiently to attach a conduit bushing. Use taper pipe thread (NPT) taps only.
- Attach conduit bushing
Securely attach a conduit bushing to the protruding portion of the conduit to ensure a proper seal.
- Seal unused openings
Fill any unused conduit openings with conduit plugs of the correct thread size, ensuring a minimum thread engagement of 3 1/2 threads.
