Overview

The nVent Duke Power CT Enclosure (SKU: A404014CTDP) is a robust, Type 3R-rated industrial cabinet designed for outdoor protection of instrument current transformers (CTs) in metering applications. Manufactured by nVent, this 40x40x14 inch enclosure is constructed from 16 or 14-gauge steel with continuously welded seams and a durable ANSI 61 Gray Polyester Powder Finish. It features a seamless foam-in-place gasket for superior IP66 and NEMA Type 4/12 ingress protection. The hinged double-door design includes a 3-point latch system with quarter-turn slotted latches for secure access. Permanently installed lift-off hinges allow for easy door removal. A wood panel insert is included, with options for perforated or inner panels. M6 ground studs are present on door and wall sections, with twenty 10-32 screws provided. The center-hinged section has a maximum load rating of 350 lb (158.8 kg) for 48-inch heights. This enclosure meets UL 508A Listed (Type 4, 12), cUL Listed (Type 4, 12), NEMA/EEMAC Type 4 and 12, and IEC 60529 IP66 standards. Typical applications include utility substations, commercial/industrial power distribution, and renewable energy projects. Its Type 3R rating is ideal for outdoor installations.
