The nVent CT Cabinet, SKU A424214CTAUE, is a Type 3R, 4, 42x42x14 inch enclosure designed for the secure outdoor protection of instrument current transformers (CTs) in transformer-rated watt-hour metering applications. It also serves as a junction or service box for meter, transformer, relay, or terminal assemblies. Constructed from durable 14-gauge galvanized steel for the body and cover, and 16-gauge galvanized steel for the bottom, this cabinet offers excellent corrosion resistance with its ANSI 61 gray polyester powder paint finish. The 2-door design features a steel foot-mount panel with a 12-gauge plated mounting panel, allowing for flexible vertical or horizontal CT mounting. Key protective features include a drip-shield top and seam-free sides, front, and back to prevent water ingress. Provisions for padlocking and an integrated ground lug enhance security and safety.
