This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing a print pocket securely on a clean surface.

Print pocket, Double-faced tape

  1. Prepare the surface

    Examine the surface where the print pocket will be installed for contaminants. Wipe the surface with a water-dampened rag to remove dust, and use a rag dampened with mineral spirits or isopropyl alcohol for oil or grease.

  2. Remove backing from tape

    Carefully remove the protective backing from the double-faced tape adhered to the back of the print pocket.

  3. Position and press the print pocket

    Position the print pocket in the desired location and press the bottom edge firmly to ensure good adhesion. Slide your finger along both side flanges with light pressure to form a consistent film thickness.

  4. Allow for curing

    Refrain from placing heavy objects or large quantities of documents inside the print pocket for at least twenty-four hours to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
