Supplies needed:

U.L. listed rain tight or liquid tight conduit hubs, Conduit, Locknuts, Locking bushing

  1. Determine Conduit Entry Location

    Decide whether the conduit entry will be above or below live parts. Refer to the document for specific requirements for each scenario.

  2. Install Conduit Hubs (If Applicable)

    If conduit entry is above live parts, use only U.L. listed rain tight or liquid tight conduit hubs. Install the hubs and conduit according to the hub manufacturer's instructions.

  3. Prepare Enclosure for Conduit

    If conduit entry is below live parts, punch or drill the correct size hole for the conduit to be used, or use the appropriate knockout if provided. Refer to the table for correct hole sizes based on conduit size.

  4. Secure the Conduit

    Secure the conduit using locknuts inside and out, or by using a locking bushing on the inside and a locknut on the outside. Ensure a tight and secure fit.
