- Inspect the mounting wall

Remove the door, top lid, and bottom plate for easier installation. Mount the enclosure to wall studs using 3/8" lag screws, ensuring the top is 6' from the floor and there is adequate clearance on all sides.
- Install the electrical box
Decide whether to mount the electrical box inside or outside the enclosure. If inside, remove the appropriate knockout and mount the box using PEM studs. If outside, mount the box and run conduit through the knockout.
- Ground the enclosure
Run a grounding cable from the Telecommunications Grounding Busbar (TGB) to the specified M6 grounding stud on the enclosure base. Ensure the grounding conductor matches or exceeds the wire gauge for power delivery.
- Terminate backbone cable
Route the backbone cable to the enclosure and terminate it to the appropriate module. Mount the module in a surface mount box or use fiber cassette brackets as needed.
- Install active equipment
Insert the active equipment into the enclosure, ensuring proper alignment with the E-rails. Connect power cords to the electrical box and patch cords to the active network equipment.
- Connect patch cords
Connect horizontal cabling to the active network equipment using patch cords, starting from the outside of the patch panel and working towards the middle.
