How to Install the WGCMB1070BL Wyr-Grid Cabinet Mount Bracket

8mm Hex key, Wire cutters, Screwdriver
Supplies needed:
M10 Bolts, M10 Lockwashers, M5 Button Head Torx Screws, M10 Hex Nuts, M10 Flat Washers, Threaded Rod & Hardware (for VED installation)
- Attach Strut to Cabinet or Legs
For standard installation, attach the strut to the top of the cabinet using M10 Bolts and Lockwashers. For elevated installation, first attach adjustable legs to the top of the cabinet using M5 Torx Screws (do not tighten fully), then attach the strut to the adjustable legs using M10 Bolts and Lockwashers. Torque M10 Bolts to 7 Lb-ft (9.5 N-m) and M5 Torx screws to 1.6 Lb-ft (2.1 N-m) after squaring the legs.
- Adjust Strut Height
Adjust the height of the strut to the desired position. The height can typically adjust from 11.00” (279.4mm) to 16.75” (425.5mm). Torque adjustment screws to a minimum of 4 Lb-ft (5.4 N-m) per screw.
- Prepare and Install for Top Integral Cable Manager
For the Top Integral Cable Manager installation, remove the front and rear fascias and cut out the removable tab. Assemble the threaded rod with M10 Hex Nuts, Lock Washers, and Flat Washers. Install the threaded rod assemblies into the center M10 threaded holes and adjust to the desired height. Cut the strut to a 1070mm length if required for VED installation. Attach the strut to the top of the threaded rods using M10 Flat Washer, M10 Lock Washer, and M10 Hex Nut per side.
- Install Wyr-Grid Pathway
Position the Wyr-Grid pathway and place the clips over the pathway wires. Tighten both clips to 4 Lb-ft (5.4 N-m). For FiberRunner pathways, loosen clips, slide them outside the pathway's width, apply the FiberRunner, and engage the channel legs with the clips. Tighten clips to 4 Lb-ft (5.4 N-m). Note: For FR24X4**6 Clips, rotate them 180°.
- Install Center Support (if applicable)
Loosen clips and slide them outside the pathway's width. Insert the Center Support into the strut parallel with the front of the cabinet and rotate it a 1/4 turn to install in the desired location.
