  1. Prepare the installation site

    Measure 5-1/8 inches from the surface where the cabinet door seats to locate the position for the knockout hole. Use a Double 'D' knockout punch to create the hole.

  2. Install the Cam Latch

    Insert the Cam Latch into the knockout hole, ensuring the Sealing Washer is properly seated. Install the Enclosure Bracket onto the Cam Latch and hand tighten the Mounting Nut to ensure it is level.

  3. Connect the wiring

    For the Control Power option, connect the Wire Harness to the VeriSafe Absence of Voltage Tester (AVT) and the power source, ensuring the power source is 12-24 VDC and under 500mA at 12 VDC.

  4. Install the Rotary Latch

    Attach the Rotary Latch to the Latch Bracket using the supplied bolts. Ensure the Rotary Latch is positioned correctly to engage the Override Latch.

  5. Verify installation

    Close the cabinet door and engage the mechanical override. Ensure the Striker is aligned with the Rotary Latch and make adjustments as necessary.

  6. Commission the system
