Strain relief boot, Strain relief collar, Load bar, Divider, Terminal connectors
- Prepare the cable
Thread the strain relief boot and collar onto the cable. Remove 2.0 inches of the outer jacket from the cable end using a wire stripping tool.
- Arrange conductors
Fan the twisted pairs into respective quadrants, ensuring the brown pair is opposite the orange pair. If present, cut the cable spline flush to the fanned pairs.
- Insert the divider
Insert the divider posts into the cable, aligning the 'V' channel with the green pair. Ensure the divider is properly oriented for the cable end being used.
- Align conductors
Arrange the conductors according to the T568B wiring scheme while minimizing untwist. Seat the conductors into the proper divider slots while holding the divider near the cable jacket end.
- Install the load bar
Guide the conductors into the load bar holes while holding them in the divider. Slide the load bar towards the divider until flush, ensuring it is centered and perpendicular to the cable axis.
- Complete the assembly
Grip and squeeze across the collar arms as the sub-assembly is inserted into the plug housing. Slide the boot forward and fully seat it onto the strain relief collar.
- Finalize the termination
