- Remove Packaging Material
Remove all stretchwrap and protective cardboard from the outside of the cabinet. Remove all shipping brackets and hold-down brackets. Use at least two persons to carefully lift and remove the cabinet from the pallet.
- Level the Cabinet
Ensure that all four leveling legs are fully retracted. Slide the cabinet into its final position. Lower the leveling legs until the cabinet weight is fully supported by them. Adjust the leveling legs so the cabinet is level front-to-back and side-to-side. When ganging multiple cabinets, ensure adjacent cabinets are adjusted to the same height.
- Secure the Cabinet to the Floor (Optional)
Ensure that all four leveling legs are fully retracted. If desired, secure the 'Shipping Hold Down Brackets' at the front and rear of the cabinet to the floor using M10 Hex Head Screws. Refer to the 'Floor Mounting View' for specific dimensions. WARNING: Mount the cabinet to the floor before installing equipment to prevent tipping.
- Gang Cabinets (Optional)
Ensure cabinets are level. Secure the front ganging brackets to the cabinets at the two front locations using M6 Torx Screws. Secure the rear ganging brackets to the cabinets at the two rear locations using M5 Torx Screws. WARNING: Ganging provides limited stability; proper leveling or floor mounting is still required.

Attach a Grounding Lug or Grounding Bar to the Common Bonding Network (CBN) at one of the six indicated locations. Remove factory-installed masking tape to expose an unpainted surface. Fasten the grounding terminal to the cabinet frame using two M5 bonding screws, torqued to 5.1 N-m (45 in-lb). DANGER: Each cabinet must be connected to the CBN.
- Adjust Equipment Rails
Loosen the M10 Hex Head Screws at the top and bottom of the rear equipment rail. Adjust the rail to the desired position and tighten the screws to 30.0 +/- 5.0 N-m (22.1 +/- 3.7 Ft-lbs). WARNING: Remove all equipment from the rails before adjusting spacing.
- Install Cable Management Fingers (Optional)
Insert the tabs of the Cable Management Finger into the mounting slots of the cabinet post. Slide the Cable Management Finger inward to lock it into place.
- Install Top of Cabinet Cable Manager (Optional)
Disassemble front fascia assemblies. Remove screws from the Cable Manager base. Install vertical walls onto the base using M5 Torx screws. Attach the front and rear fascias to the vertical walls using M5 Torx screws. Re-install screws to secure the assembly to the frame.
