How to Install the Net-Access S-Type Universal Cabinet
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and setting up the Net-Access S-Type Universal Cabinet, ensuring proper leveling, grounding, and securing of the cabinet.

Phillips screwdriver, Flatblade screwdriver, 22mm socket wrench, 15mm socket wrench, 13mm socket wrench, 8mm socket wrench, 48” level, 7mm socket wrench, T30 Torx bit, T25 Torx bit, 6mm Allen key, 2.5mm Allen key, Wire cutter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, M10 Hex Head Screws, M5 Torx Screws, Grounding Lug or Grounding Bar, Foam Seals, D-shaped Rubber Seal
- Remove Packaging Material
Inspect the cabinet for damage before accepting it. Remove all stretch wrap and protective cardboard from the outside of the cabinet. Remove all Shipping Brackets if necessary.
- Level the Cabinet
Ensure that all four leveling legs are fully retracted. Slide the cabinet into its final position and lower the leveling legs using a 6mm Allen key until the cabinet weight is fully supported. Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the cabinet is level both front-to-back and side-to-side.
- Secure the Cabinet to the Floor
If necessary, secure the Shipping Hold Down Brackets at the front and rear of the cabinet. Attach anchors to the floor with appropriate hardware for your type of floor using M10 Hex Head Screws and a 15mm socket wrench.
- Ground the Cabinet
Attach a Grounding Lug or Grounding Bar at any of the designated locations using an M5 bonding screw. Ensure that the grounding location is indicated by the universal ground symbol.
- Install Equipment Rails
Loosen the M10 Hex Head Screws at the top and bottom of the equipment rail. Adjust the equipment rail to the desired position and tighten the screws to 30.0 +/- 5.0 N-m.
- Install Cable Management
Insert the tabs of the Cable Management Finger into the mounting slots of the equipment rails and slide inward to lock into place.
- Seal the Cabinet
Install the D-shaped Rubber Seal and Foam Seals to the bottoms of the Horizontal Blanking Panel and Bottom Seal Brackets to ensure proper sealing.
