7mm socket wrench, 7/16" socket wrench, Cleaning pad
Supplies needed:
Anti-oxidizing paste, M6 Thread Forming Screws, 1/4-20 Bolts, M6 Cage Nuts, 1/4-20 Nuts, Grounding Washers, Lock Washers, Flat Washers, Grounding Strips, Cabinet Frame Bonding Jumpers, ESD Ports, Grounding Busbars
- Prepare Mating Surfaces
Clean all mating surfaces using the provided cleaning pad. Apply a very thin layer of anti-oxidizing paste to all mating surfaces before installation.
- Install ESD Port Assembly
Assemble the ESD Port. Attach the grounding strip (RGS134-10-1) to the cabinet equipment rail using M6 Thread Forming Screws (RGTSM6-C). Fasten these screws with a 7mm socket wrench to an installation torque of 35 in-lbs. Ensure the ESD Protection Sticker is applied.
- Install Grounding Busbar Assembly
Assemble the Grounding Busbar. Attach the grounding busbar (RGRB19) to the cabinet frame using 1/4-20 Bolts (RGNTS1420-C), Lock Washers (RGLW14-C), and Flat Washers (RGFW14-C). Secure with 1/4-20 Nuts (RGN1420-C). Fasten these bolts with a 7/16" socket wrench to an installation torque of 7 ft-lbs.
- Install Cabinet Equipment Rail Bonding Assembly
Assemble the Cabinet Equipment Rail Bonding Assembly. Connect the cabinet frame bonding jumper (NCRGBC636PF) to the cabinet equipment rail using a 1/4-20 Bolt (RGNTS1420-C), Grounding Washer (RGW-100-1), Lock Washer (RGLW14-C), and Flat Washer (RGFW14-C). Secure with a 1/4-20 Nut (RGN1420-C). Fasten the bolt with a 7/16" socket wrench to an installation torque of 7 ft-lbs.
- Install Cabinet Equipment Rail Grounding Assembly
Assemble the Cabinet Equipment Rail Grounding Assembly. Attach the grounding strip (RGS134-10-1) to the cabinet equipment rail using a 1/4-20 Bolt (RGNTS1420-C), Grounding Washer (RGW-100-1), and M6 Cage Nut (NCCNM6-C).
