- Prepare the mounting surface
Clean the mounting surface using the provided cleaning pad. Ensure the surface is free of debris and coatings that may interfere with grounding.
- Mount the grounding strip
Attach the grounding strip to the cabinet or equipment using the appropriate hardware (M6 Screw, Cage Nut, M6 HDW, Strip Clip, etc.) as indicated for your specific CGJ640UB model. Ensure the strip is securely fastened.
- Connect the grounding bar
If applicable, mount the 19" Universal Ground Bar to the grounding strip using the specified hardware (e.g., 10-32 Screw, 10-32 HDW). Refer to the documentation for the correct quantity and type of hardware.
- Apply grounding stickers and ESD ports
Apply the Universal Grounding Sticker and ESD Sticker to the designated locations. Install ESD Ports if included with your kit.
- Make grounding connections
Connect the grounding conductors to the grounding strip or bar using the provided screws and hardware (e.g., 10-32 Screw, 12-24 Screw).
