How to Install the PZICGK Grounding Kit

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the PZICGK Grounding Kit, ensuring proper grounding for your enclosure.

Tools needed:

Screwdriver, Wire strippers

Supplies needed:

Bonding studs, Bonding nuts, Grounding bracket, Thread forming screws, Equipment jumpers

  1. Install bonding studs

    Insert bonding studs through the inside of the enclosure door until the nuts contact the door surface.

  2. Secure bonding nuts

    Attach bonding nuts to the studs on the outside of the door to hold them in place.

  3. Mount grounding bracket

    Align the #12 external tooth lockwasher, grounding bracket, and #10 split lock washer over the designated hole on the enclosure door, then fasten with a #10-32 thread forming screw.

  4. Connect door jumper

    Install the 90-degree lug of the door jumper to the grounding bracket and secure it with a #12-24 screw.

  5. Attach door jumper to bonding stud

    Connect the flat end of the door jumper to one of the bonding studs and secure it with a #10-32 nut.

  6. Install equipment jumpers

    Attach the 1-hole lugs of the two equipment jumpers to the grounding bracket and secure them with two #12-24 screws.

  7. Connect equipment jumpers to switches

    Install the 2-hole lugs of the equipment jumpers to the two switches and fasten them with the provided screws.
