How to Install the PZICE In-Ceiling Enclosure
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the PZICE In-Ceiling Enclosure, including mounting, wiring, and cable management.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Utility knife, Level, Tape measure
Supplies needed:
Threaded rods, Nuts, Washers, Ceiling tile cutout template, Grommets, Mounting brackets, Tak-Ties
- Install threaded rods
Attach (4) threaded rods to the building structure using nuts and washers above and below the support brackets. Ensure the enclosure is level and not supported by the ceiling grid system.
- Cut ceiling tile
Place the ceiling tile cutout template over the removed ceiling tile and secure it with tape or thumb tacks. Use a utility knife to trace and cut out the necessary shape for the enclosure.
- Mount the enclosure
With the enclosure in place, remove the (3) #6-32 screws and ceiling tile bracket. Insert the ceiling tile cutout into the housing, ensuring proper orientation, then replace the ceiling tile bracket and screws.
- Install mounting brackets
Adjust the mounting brackets forward or backward to accommodate the desired depth for the network equipment. Secure the equipment to the recommended mounting locations.
- Route cables
Determine the direction of incoming and outgoing cables to select the appropriate entry/exit knockouts. Remove the knockouts and install grommets from inside the enclosure, ensuring to leave a minimum of 14” of cable slack.
- Secure cables
Use a tie-down bar to secure the cables approximately 24” away from the entry point and 6” above the top of the enclosure to ensure proper slack management.
