1/2” or M12 Threaded Rods, Washers, Nuts, Panduit PWBHK** Wire Basket Hooks (sold separately), Threaded Rod Cover (e.g., TRC18FR-X20Y, sold separately, optional)
- Gather Required Supplies
Collect all necessary customer-supplied components including 1/2” or M12 threaded rods, washers, and nuts. Also ensure you have the Panduit Trapeze Bracket and two PWBHK** wire basket hooks (sold separately).
- Select Installation Method
Determine whether to use the 'Traditional Installation' method, which typically uses two threaded rods, or the 'Center Hole Installation' method, which uses a single threaded rod through the center of the bracket. Note that PWBTB30** and PWBTB36** models only support Traditional Installation.
- Assemble Trapeze Bracket with Threaded Rods
For Traditional Installation, insert two customer-supplied threaded rods through the side holes of the trapeze bracket. Secure them with customer-supplied washers and nuts on both sides. For Center Hole Installation, insert a single customer-supplied threaded rod through the center hole of the trapeze bracket and secure it with washers and nuts. Ensure all connections are tight.
- Attach Wire Basket to Trapeze Bracket
Connect the wire basket to the trapeze bracket using two PWBHK** wire basket hooks (sold separately). Ensure the wire basket is securely attached to the bracket. For wire basket applications with a center line wire, the trapeze bracket or the wire basket may be shifted to provide necessary clearance to complete the installation.
- Install Threaded Rod Cover (Optional for Center Hole)
If performing a Center Hole Installation, it is best practice to apply a threaded rod cover (e.g., TRC18FR-X20Y, sold separately) for safety and aesthetics. This step is optional but recommended.
