- Review Safety Information and Prepare
Before beginning, thoroughly read all safety information in the PDU manual. Ensure the installation environment is temperature and humidity controlled, free of conductive contaminants. Verify that the feed circuit breaker for the power source is in the OFF position to prevent electric shock. This installation must be performed by individuals knowledgeable about AC power products.
- Mount the PDU in the Rack
For vertical PDUs, install mounting buttons (if using a non-Panduit rack) on the appropriate PDU face or side, then insert the PDU into the keyhole slots of the rack's mounting bracket.
