Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Cage nuts, Ground bonding cable
- Mount the PDU
Align and install the mounting buttons with the screw holes on the face of the PDU. Insert the mounting buttons into the keyhole slots on the PDU mounting bracket in the rack.
- Connect the Ground Bonding Cable
Attach the ground bonding cable to the external ground bonding point located on the chassis of the PDU. Ensure it is securely fastened to a known earthed reference terminal.
- Connect the PDU to Power Source
Turn off the feed circuit breaker. Connect the PDU to an appropriately rated branch circuit, ensuring all circuit breakers on the PDU are set to On. Turn the feed circuit breaker back On.
- Configure the PDU
Access the Web interface of the PDU. Navigate to the System Management page and select the correct input cord type. Save the settings and allow the PDU to reset.
- Verify Operation
Check the OLED display on the PDU to ensure it is operational. Confirm that the status bar displays during startup and the Main Menu appears once loaded.
