Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Cage nuts, Ground bonding cable
- Mount the PDU
Align and install the mounting buttons with the screw holes on the face of the PDU, opposite the outlets. Insert the mounting buttons into the keyhole slots on the PDU mounting bracket in the rack.
- Connect the Ground Bonding Cable
Locate the external ground bonding point on the chassis of the PDU. Use a ground bonding cable to connect the PDU to a known earthed reference terminal in the building.
- Connect the PDU to Power Source
Turn the feed circuit breaker Off. Ensure all circuit breakers on the PDU are set to On. Connect the PDU to an appropriately rated branch circuit, then turn the feed circuit breaker On.
- Configure the PDU
Access the Web interface of the PDU and navigate to the System Management page. Select the correct input cord type under actions and save the settings to complete the configuration.
