This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the Pan-Punch 110 Punchdown System, ensuring proper cable termination and setup.

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, PDT110 single wire punchdown tool, PDT110M multi-pair punchdown tool
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Cable identification labels, Terminal connectors
- Mount the base
Use appropriate mounting hardware to install the base on a 3/4" plywood surface, ensuring the Panduit lettering is upright.
- Route the cables
Route the cables through the slots in the base, maintaining the proper color sequence: white, red, blue, yellow, and violet. Ensure the cable jacket is stripped back only as required.
- Insert and punch down cable pairs
Insert each cable pair into the wire strip slots while maintaining the proper color sequence. Use the PDT110M multi-pair punchdown tool to seat and cut the pairs to length, ensuring the tool is perpendicular to the base.
- Secure the connecting block
Position the connecting block over the wired base and secure it in place using the PDT110M tool. Ensure a good termination by keeping the tool perpendicular.
- Terminate cross-connect wires
Once the connecting blocks are seated, terminate cross-connect wires to the top of the connecting blocks or install Pan-Punch 110 patch cords as needed.
- Label the installation
Add cable identification to the label, fold it, and slide it into the label holder. Snap the label holder into position on the base between rows of connecting blocks.
