This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the Pan-Punch 110 Punchdown System, ensuring proper cable termination and setup.

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, PDT110 single wire punchdown tool, PDT110M multi-pair punchdown tool
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Cable identification labels, Terminal connectors
- Mount the base
Use appropriate mounting hardware to secure the base of the Pan-Punch 110 system to a flat surface, ensuring that the Panduit lettering is upright.
- Route the cables
Carefully route the cables through the designated slots in the base, ensuring that the cable jacket ends are within 1/2 inch of the wire strip slots.
- Insert and punch down cable pairs
Insert each cable pair into the wire strip slots while maintaining the proper color sequence. Use the PDT110M multi-pair punchdown tool to seat and cut the pairs to length, keeping the tool perpendicular to the base.
- Terminate cross-connect wires
Once the connecting blocks are seated, terminate the cross-connect wires to the top of the connecting blocks or install Pan-Punch 110 patch cords as needed.
- Label the installation
Add cable identification to the label, fold it, and slide it into the label holder. Snap the label holder into position on the base between the rows of connecting blocks.
