This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the OFCD6517RF Dome Closure for Unitube/Ribbon applications.

Tools needed:
3/8" & 7/16" Can wrench or socket, 1/4” Nut driver or screwdriver, Snips, Fiber optic cable opening tools
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Cable grommets, Silicone lubricant, Hose clamps, Strength member brackets, Disposable gloves
- Prepare the Organizer Assembly
Remove the support bar mounting clip from the organizer assembly and then remove the end plate from the organizer assembly.
- Assemble the Organizer
Reassemble the organizer assembly to the end plate using the mounting clip and secure it with a 1/4" hex bolt and nut.
- Install Grommets
Position the grommets in the end plate slots and lubricate the outer surface of the grommet with silicone lubricant to ensure a proper seal.
- Insert Cables
Insert the prepared cables through the grommets, ensuring that the cable diameter is appropriate for the selected grommet.
- Secure the Strength Member
Position the strength member under the cap of the strength member bracket and secure it with a nut. Tighten the nut to secure the strength member.
- Install the Dome
Lubricate all surfaces around the gasket and position the dome over the end plate. Ensure the gasket is seated properly in the groove.
- Final Assembly
