- Install the Lock-In Device onto the RJ45 Plug
Align the white line on the lock-in tool with the white line on the lock-in device. Insert the tool into the device and rotate it clockwise 90°. Push the RJ45 plug into the device until it snaps into place, ensuring the plug is fully seated.
- Connect the RJ45 Plug to the Jack
Insert the RJ45 plug into the jack until it locks into place. Lightly pull on the plug to confirm it is securely connected.
- Remove the Lock-In Device from the RJ45 Plug
Align the white line on the lock-in tool with the white line on the lock-in device. Insert the tool into the device and rotate it clockwise 180°. Use a screwdriver or fingernail to release the tab on the bottom of the device. While holding the release tab, push the RJ45 plug out of the device.
