How to Install the MA102 Replacement Controller Module
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for safely removing the old controller and installing the new MA102 replacement controller module in a Panduit G6 iPDU.

T10 screwdriver
Supplies needed:
Replacement Controller Module (MA102), Ribbon cable
- Document existing connections
Remove all connections from the front of the existing Control module (Ethernet, Serial, Sensor, etc.) and document which port each of the RJ45 plugs were connected to for reconnection.
- Remove the old Control Module
Using a T10 screwdriver, loosen the (2) screws securing the Control Module, then remove the Control Module from the PDU chassis by disconnecting the ribbon cable.
- Install the new Control Module
Plug the ribbon cable into the replacement Controller module, then install the replacement Control Module into the PDU chassis, ensuring the ribbon cable is not strained or kinked.
- Secure the new Control Module
Using a T10 screwdriver, tighten the (2) screws securing the Control Module in place to a recommended torque of 0.25 - 0.35 N m. Do not over tighten to avoid metal deformation.
- Reconnect existing connections
Reconnect the RJ45 plugs to the same ports as documented in step 1.
- Update firmware
