How to Install the Panduit Security Handle
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the Panduit Security Handle on a cabinet door, including wiring and initial configuration.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors
- Prepare the cabinet door
Ensure the cabinet door has a cut-out of 150x25mm for the lock body. Clean the area around the cut-out to ensure a proper fit.
- Mount the lock body
Position the lock body within the cut-out and flush to the outer face of the cabinet door. Secure it using the 12mm Top Mounting Screws and Top Mounting Bracket, torquing to 0.4-0.5 Nm [3.5 - 4.4 in/lbs].
- Install the Bottom Mounting Bracket
Ensure the orientation of the lock plug corresponds to the Bottom Mounting Bracket. Install the Bracket using the included 15mm and 20mm Bottom Mounting Screws, torquing to 0.4 – 0.5 Nm [3.5 – 4.4 in/lbs].
- Set the aisle switch
Set the switch on the back of the Panduit Security Handle to 'On' for Hot Aisle and '1' for Cold Aisle, as per your installation requirements.
- Attach the magnetic switch and magnet
Attach the ACF10 or ACF11 magnet to the top corner of the cabinet using screws. Then, attach the magnetic switch to the opposite corner of the cabinet door, ensuring the distance between them is less than 10mm when the door is closed.
- Connect the wire harness
Connect the Panduit Security Handle to the G5/G6 iPDU using the appropriate harness as per the connection diagram. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Access the G5/G6 iPDU Web Interface
Log into the G5/G6 iPDU Web Interface to configure the Access Security settings, alarms, and notifications as needed.
