#10-32 screws, Star washers, #10-32 wing nut, Adhesive pads

  1. Prepare the FWMHSSG-864 Enclosure

    Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove and discard the splice tray holder and plastic snap. Keep 2 of the 4 screws and star washers for later use.

  2. Install the FlexCore Patch Panel

    Insert the FlexCore Patch Panel hooks into a horizontal slot of the FWMHSSG-864 enclosure. Install two #10-32 screws and star washers saved from the previous step, but do not tighten them yet.

  3. Secure the FlexCore Patch Panel

    Center the top portion of the FlexCore Patch Panel by aligning the triangular notch with the tapped hole in the middle of the enclosure backplate. Tighten the screws to secure the panel.

  4. Install the Fiber Slack Spool

    Mount the Fiber Slack Spool to the upper cable support shelf by inserting the spool mounting bracket stud through the spool center hole. Tighten the #10-32 wing nut from the top to secure it.

  5. Install FlexCore Cassettes

    Snap up to twelve Triple Wide FlexCore Cassettes into the patch panel slots. To remove a cassette, lift the upper latch and pull the cassette out of its slot.
