Supplies needed:
#10-32 x 3/8" pan head screws, #12-24 x .5" mounting screws, M6 x 15mm mounting screws, Spool clamp brackets, Slack spools, Strain relief bar
- Mount the strain relief bar
Position the strain relief bar at the appropriate RU space on the rack and secure it using the lowest screw hole with either #12-24 x .5" or M6 x 15mm mounting screws.
- Attach the slack spools
If needed, attach the slack spools to the strain relief bar as shown in the installation diagram, ensuring they are securely fastened.
- Route the interconnect cables
Route the interconnect cables from the vertical cable manager to the SFQ cassettes, using Tak-Tys to secure the fiber to the rear manager bars at the indicated positions.
- Manage additional cable slack
Wrap any additional ribbon cable slack around the slack spools or manage it within the vertical cable manager to maintain organization and prevent damage.
