Supplies needed:

Heat shrink tube, Double sided tape, Adhesive tape, Lint-free wipes, Gel cleaner

  1. Prepare the cable

    Slide the heat shrink tube over the cable and prepare the cable according to the manufacturer's instructions, ensuring all fibers are free of gel.

  2. Secure the furcation tube assembly

    Lay the cable on a table and tape the furcation tube assembly securely to the edge of the table.

  3. Thread the fibers

    Carefully thread each fiber into the tube assembly, matching the fiber colors to the colors of the tubing.

  4. Insert the tube assembly

    Once the tube assembly is loaded, remove it from the edge of the table, slide it toward the base, ensuring fibers do not bend, kink, or twist, and place it into the base.
