Protection Sleeve, Rear Parts, Spring, Dummy Cap, Adhesive, Mending Tape
- Prepare the fiber
Slide the Rear Parts, Spring, and Protection Sleeve onto the ribbon fiber. Ensure the fiber is clean and free of dust.
- Cleave the fiber
Use the Fiber Cleaver to cleave the fiber, ensuring there is no gap and the cleave is clean.
- Set up the splicer
Place the fiber holder on the splicer (left side) and set the MT STUB on the plastic holder (right side).
- Perform the fusion splice
Select the appropriate splicing program on the fusion splicer and perform the fusion splice.
- Heat the protection sleeve
Slide the Protection Sleeve to the MT STUB and set it into the heater. Confirm the position before heating.
- Finalize the installation
Remove the Dummy Cap, put on the Front Housing, and secure the assembly. Ensure all components are tightly fitted.
