Mounting screws, Cable ties
- Remove the POEXPANEL from packaging
Carefully take the POEXPANEL and its accessories out of the packaging, ensuring no parts are damaged.
- Mount the POEXPANEL
Install the POEXPANEL in a standard 19” equipment rack using the provided screws. Ensure there is 1 RU of free space above the rack for access.
- Install POEXTX1 transmitters
Slide the POEXTX1 transmitters into place from the rear of the panel, ensuring the end marked 'TO SWITCH' is correctly positioned.
- Connect field wires
Plug the field wires from the receivers (POEXRX1 or POEXRX4) into the rear RJ45s of the transmitters. Use cable ties to secure the wires.
- Install Ethernet cables
Run wires from the front of the POEXPANEL to the Ethernet switches/routers. If using 190W power supplies, disable PoE power on the connected switch ports.
- Secure power supplies
If using 190W power supplies, secure them to the panel with the provided long cable ties and connect the 1-to-4 adapters to the DC barrel output.
- Connect power cords
Plug the power cords into the 190W power supplies and then into the AC supply. Ensure the AC is turned on.
- Final safety check
Verify that all connections are secure and that the installation is complete before powering on the POEXPANEL equipment.
