Phillips head screwdriver
Supplies needed:
#10-32 X 1/4” screws, #12-24 X 1/2” screws, Pan Ty cable ties
- Remove the shipping bracket
Unscrew the Phillips head screws on the top and bottom of the enclosure to remove the shipping bracket.
- Mount the enclosure
Secure the enclosure to the rack using a minimum of four #10-32 X 1/4” screws. If there is space above, pre-install two screws on each side to assist in mounting.
- Install cassettes
Open the enclosure door, slide the tray out to the second stop position, and install the cassettes by lifting them from the front and securing them in place.
- Route and secure cables
Route incoming cables under the cable holding features and secure them with Pan Ty cable ties to prevent snagging when accessing cassettes.
- Label the enclosure
Apply the provided labels to the tray surfaces and the front door of the enclosure for identification according to EIA606-B standards.
