Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cable ties, Grommets
- Mount the enclosure
Position the mounting brackets on the rack and secure the enclosure using (4) #12-24 x 1/2" screws. Ensure the enclosure is level and firmly attached.
- Install the strain relief bracket
Install the strain relief bracket near the cable entry point using (1) #10-32 x 3/8" screw and (1) #10-32 hex nut to secure it.
- Route the fiber cables
Route the fiber cables through the grommet into the enclosure, ensuring enough slack is left so that the drawer can be fully extended without tension on the cables.
- Install fiber adapter panels
Insert the Fiber Adapter Panels (FAPs) into the enclosure and secure them using the NyLatch fasteners to ensure they are firmly in place.
- Secure fiber cords
Use Tak-Tys to secure the fiber cords at the cable entry location and other points to maintain organization and prevent damage.
