13mm Socket Wrench, 19mm Wrench, 8mm Hex Drive, T25 Torx driver, 122mm Level
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Grounding Lug or Grounding Bar, Appropriate hardware for floor mounting
- Remove Packaging Material
Remove all stretch wrap, protective cardboard, and plastic bag from the outside of the cabinet. Remove the two Shipping Hold Down Brackets at the front and rear of the cabinet. Use at least two persons to carefully lift and remove the cabinet from the pallet. Retain the Shipping Hold Down Brackets if floor mounting is desired.
- Position and Level the Cabinet
Ensure that the four leveling legs are fully retracted. Slide the cabinet into its final position. Lower the four leveling legs until the cabinet weight is fully supported by them. Adjust the leveling legs so the cabinet is level front-to-back and side-to-side using a 122mm level and a 19mm wrench.
- Secure the Cabinet to the Floor (Optional)
Ensure that the four leveling legs are fully retracted. Secure the two Shipping Hold Down Brackets at the front and rear of the cabinet. Attach anchors to the floor with appropriate hardware for your floor type. WARNING: Mount cabinet to floor before installing more than 500Kg (1102lbs.) of equipment to prevent tipping.
- Gang Multiple Cabinets (Optional)
Ensure cabinets are level. Remove the four Side Caps from the sides of the cabinets that will be ganged together. Secure Ganging Brackets to cabinets at two front and two back locations using M5 Button Head Screws and a T25 Torx bit. Do not use Ganging Brackets to cinch cabinets together. WARNING: Ganging provides limited stability and is not a substitute for proper leveling or floor mounting.
- Connect Grounding
Attach a Grounding Lug or Grounding Bar (not included) to the Common Bonding Network (CBN), utilizing any bonus hole along the Front-to-Rear members of the frame. DANGER: Each cabinet must be connected to the Common Bonding Network (CBN) to prevent electrical shock.
- Adjust Equipment Rail Spacing
Remove the M5 screws from the top, middle, and bottom of the equipment rails using a T25 Torx bit. Adjust the equipment rail to the desired position and re-install the M5 screws to 2.7 ± 0.3 N·m [23.9 ± 2.7 in-lbs]. WARNING: Remove all equipment installed onto equipment rails before performing any adjustments to prevent falling equipment.
