- Prepare the installation area
Measure the distance from the face of the column to the end of the wall beam to determine the correct placement for the Mid-Span Post and Threaded Rod.
- Install the Mid-Span Post
Secure the Mid-Span Post to the Wall Beam based on the measured distance, ensuring it is aligned properly with the column.
- Attach the Wall Beam Extension
Lift the Wall Beam and place the Wall Beam Extension underneath, then lower the Wall Beam and secure the Extension to the Mid-Span Post using M6 Serrated Hex Nuts.
- Install the Aisle Beam Support
Hand tighten the nut on the Aisle Beam Support to allow for adjustment, ensuring it aligns with the Aisle Beam.
- Cut and install roofing panels
Cut the ceiling panel(s) around the building column with a sharp razor to avoid shards, and secure the cut panel per UAC instruction sheet.
- Seal gaps with blanking strips
