Supplies needed:
Video cable, Terminal connectors
- Trim the video cable
Trim back the video cable to expose approximately 2 inches of the drain wire and 1 inch of the twisted pair conductors and coaxial lines (Red, Green, Blue).
- Identify conductors
Identify each conductor according to the appropriate signal name using the pinout table. Perform a continuity test if necessary to ensure correct identification.
- Insert and secure wires
Before inserting wires, turn the screws counter-clockwise to open the clamps. Insert the coaxial center conductors, coaxial shields, and conductors into the appropriate slots based on the pinout table. Turn the screws clockwise to secure all wires firmly.
