Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cable entry grommet, Strain relief bracket, Adhesive bevel entry clips, TAK-TYs, Slack spools
- Prepare the enclosure
Remove the cover of the enclosure by unscrewing the #10-32 screw, sliding the cover back, and lifting it off.
- Mount the enclosure
Secure the enclosure to the rack using four #12-24 x 1/2" screws. If mounting to a metric rack, use four M6 x 1 screws.
- Install the strain relief bracket
Attach the strain relief bracket near the cable entry point using a #10-32 x 5/16" screw and a #10-32 hex nut.
- Prepare and install the cable entry grommet
Determine the size of the innerduct to be used and cut the grommet accordingly. Install the grommet into the enclosure.
- Route the fiber cables
Route the fiber cables through the cable entry grommet to the fiber cassettes, ensuring to use TAK-TYs to secure the fiber cords at the cable entry location.
- Install fiber adapter panels
Insert the QUICKNET pre-terminated fiber optic cassettes into the enclosure and fully seat the NyLatch fasteners to secure them.
- Secure the strength member
Attach the strength member of the cable around the #10-32 stud inside the enclosure, securing it with a #10 flat washer and #10-32 hex nut.
- Finalize installation
Ensure all connections are secure and that the enclosure is properly closed. Verify that no fibers are pinched or damaged.
