Aerial Support Tie (AST25-5-C100), Cable

  1. Snap the tie onto the support strand

    Position the groove portion of the aerial support tie onto the support strand and snap it into place.

  2. Position the cable

    Place the cable against the tie spacer and thread the tail of the tie through the slot in the head.

  3. Tighten the tie

    Push upwards on the body of the tie until it is snug, then use pliers to tighten it completely utilizing the tension steps on the tie.

  4. Cut the tip if necessary

    If releasability is not required, cut off the tip of the tie after installation.

  5. Release the tie if needed

    To release the tie, use a screwdriver to push the locking tab towards the support strand.
