The process involves splitting the cable, removing the sheathing, and cutting splice conductors to length if necessary. For tapping, individual conductors do not require stripping, only exposure. The clear cover is installed using slip-joint pliers. The integrated installation displacement contacts negate the need to strip individual conductors. Simply plug the connectors together to complete the installation. The NMT-2 is compliant with 2014 NEC 334.40 (A) (B), ensuring adherence to industry standards.
