Overview

The Panduit FST6 Fiber Splice Tray Kit (SKU: FST6) is engineered for efficient fiber optic splicing and management within Panduit's FMT, FWME4, and FWME8 series enclosures. This versatile tray accommodates up to twelve mechanical or fusion splices, providing a secure and organized solution for your fiber network infrastructure. Its design facilitates stacking, allowing for up to four trays high in rack mount enclosures using the FSTHE stacking unit, or in wall mount enclosures with the FST6H4 stacking unit. This capability maximizes space utilization in high-density environments. The tray is compatible with both mechanical and fusion splice protectors, offering flexibility for various installation requirements. Loose tube cable is managed through adjustable tube grips located at each corner, which eliminate the need for cable ties and prevent over-compression of the cable, ensuring signal integrity. These grips can be easily tightened or loosened as needed. The FST6 supports a 30mm bend radius, which is ideal for 250μm or 900μm fiber, safeguarding against signal loss due to tight bends. Internal cable management features allow for multiple fiber routing options, including crossover configurations, while pivoting splice holders provide uninterrupted control of the fiber during the splicing process. A built-in fiber pick aids in the withdrawal of individual fibers. The tray comes equipped with a transparent, hinged lid secured by a latch for easy access and visibility, and cable tie points are provided for securing fiber upon entry and exit. Mounting options include a center hole, DIN style holes, or a double-sided foam adhesive pad, offering installation flexibility. This product is manufactured in the USA and adheres to UNSPSC code 31162810. It is designed to integrate seamlessly into Panduit's robust fiber optic enclosure systems, ensuring reliable performance and ease of maintenance for your critical fiber optic connections.
