Overview

This 3-port connector accommodates wire sizes from 250 MCM down to 6 AWG, supporting both copper and aluminum conductors with current ratings of 290A (copper) and 230A (aluminum) at 600V. The connector features dual-sided entry ports with removable access plugs, allowing installation flexibility in cable trays, panel boards, ducts, raceways, or troughs. The aluminum alloy body is coated with high-dielectric strength plastisol insulation, providing resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and UV exposure while maintaining a 90°C operating temperature rating. Cold temperature performance is rated to -45°C. Installation requires only a hex key and torque wrench (torque value specified in catalog), eliminating the need for additional supplies like tape or covers. Mounting is direct via 1/4" bolts on either side of the connector, with dimensional data available in the manufacturer's catalog. The IPLMD series includes configurations from 3 to 12 ports, with additional sizes for 3/0 AWG and 350 MCM wire ranges.
