Overview

The NSI Industries AL4/0N is a high-conductivity aluminum compression lug designed for reliable electrical connections. Manufactured from premium aluminum tubing, this lug ensures excellent conductivity and durability. It features a standard barrel design with a center stop to guarantee proper cable installation, preventing over-insertion and ensuring a secure connection. For enhanced corrosion resistance, the AL4/0N is electro-tin plated, making it suitable for demanding environments. The lug is clearly marked with die index information and color-coded for easy identification and proper crimp die selection, streamlining installation processes. This lug is cULus Listed and UL486A/B Listed for wire connectors, and it is rated for 35kV maximum when installed according to cable manufacturer specifications. It operates at a temperature rating of 90°C and is compatible with NSI crimp tools N1240 and N121D. The voltage rating is 600V maximum, or 2000V maximum per UL486B. The AL4/0N is designed for 4/0 AWG conductors and features a 1/2" bolt size for secure mounting. Its barrel dimensions include an outer diameter (OD) of 0.840" and an inner diameter (ID) of 0.550", with a barrel length (B1) of 1.181". The overall length (L) is 2.000", and the width (W) is 0.840". Tang length (A) is 0.630" and tang length (B) is 0.402", with a tang thickness (C) of 0.118". The mounting hole diameter (E) is 0.508". Each standard carton contains 12 units. This product is manufactured in the USA.
