Overview

The Littelfuse 600 V ac/dc in-line watertight fuse holders, including the LEXCC series, offer robust overcurrent protection for demanding environments characterized by high humidity and corrosive conditions. These recently redesigned fuse holders are engineered for touch-safe operation and provide maximum flexibility across a variety of applications. They are designed to meet IP67 ingress protection standards, ensuring defense against dust and water. The voltage rating is 600 V ac/dc, with an ampere rating up to 30 A. Withstand ratings (SCCR) vary: LEC/LEY series holders offer 200 kA, while LEB/LEX series holders provide 10 kA, 20 kA, or 100 kA depending on the 10x38 mm fuse used. Approvals include UL Listed (File: E14721) and CSA Certified (File: LR7316) for LEC/LEY series, and UL Recognized (File: E14721) and CSA Certified (File: LR7316) for LEB/LEX series. These holders are RoHS compliant and Lead (Pb) Free. The holder material has a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, and the insulating boot is UL 94HB. Key features include enhanced safety through individual device disconnection for easy servicing and reduced shock risk, and increased efficiency by preventing faulted ballasts from damaging fixtures. The improved design offers better surface area for ergonomic comfort and grip, more pronounced seating for automatic alignment, and chamfered edges for installation comfort. A watertight O-ring seal and available insulating boots further enhance protection in harsh environments. Recommended fuses for LEB/LEX series include Class CC (CCMR, KLDR, KLKR) and Midget (10x38 mm) series (BLF, BLN, FLM, FLQ, KLK, KLKD). LEC/LEY series also accommodate Class CC fuses (CCMR, KLDR, KLKR). Applications include street lighting, parking lot lighting, sports lighting, outdoor illuminated signs, boat electrical circuits, tractors, yard equipment, traffic signals, alley lighting, and electric wheelchairs. The redesigned part numbers are available, featuring these enhancements. Littelfuse.com/in-line provides CAD drawings and technical information.

Mersen's complete line of single and dual pole in-line fuseholders accommodate Class CC fuses. The fuseholders are designed for quick installation. Securing nuts or screws are captive thus speeding installation by reducing the need to locate and assemble loose components in the field. Three internal O-rings per pole seal the fuseholder providing a water-resistant compartment for the fuse. The captive O-rings are colored (blue for single pole and red for dual pole) for quick detection. Optional cone shaped insulator boots can be slipped on to provide a watertight seal (breakaway versions come with boots standard). Both single and dual pole versions have an optional breakaway feature which safely disconnects the load in case of a pole knockdown. Fuses remain safely encapsulated within the watertight fuse holder on the load side. Once the pole has been reinstalled the fuseholder can be easily reconnected. single terminal boot
