Overview

The Littelfuse LECAD 600V in-line watertight fuse holders (SKU: LECAD) provide robust circuit protection in high humidity and corrosive environments. Designed for midget (10x38mm) or Class CC fuses, these holders support up to 600VAC/DC and 30A. Each pole features three O-rings for a reliable watertight seal, safeguarding fuses from moisture and contaminants. Available in breakaway and non-breakaway, single and double pole configurations, the LECAD series offers application flexibility. The breakaway version enhances safety by enabling quick line-side disconnection during pole knockdown, meeting highway commission standards. Tulip fuse clips ensure superior contact and minimize electrical losses. Optional insulator boots (standard on breakaway) provide an additional watertight seal and are color-coded for easy identification: blue for single pole, red for dual pole. Captive nuts or screws simplify and expedite installation. The high heat, impact-resistant insulator ensures durability in demanding conditions. Ideal applications include street lighting, parking lot lighting, traffic signaling, sports lighting, marine environments, and other areas exposed to humidity and corrosive elements. Approvals include UL Listed Class CC (IZLT, File E52283) and UL Recognized Component Midget Class (IZLT2, File E52283), CSA Certified Class CC and Midget Class (6225, File 32169). The captive O-rings are colored (blue for single pole and red for dual pole) for quick detection. Optional cone shaped insulator boots can be slipped on to provide a watertight seal (breakaway versions come with boots standard). Both single and dual pole versions have an optional breakaway feature which safely disconnects the load in case of a pole knockdown.
